Experience several of best locations in the world to photograph lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, wild dogs at their den sites, elephants, buffalo, hippos, giraffes, zebras and many types of bird species.

 

This very exclusive safari is limited to only 10 participants in order to provide the best wildlife viewing. We’ll have one or two private vehicles, with only 4-5 participants per vehicle. We stay at one of the best concessions in Botswana, in small, luxury camps with a maximum of eight tents. This makes our tour virtually crowd free – just us and a huge variety of wildlife! We work with highly experienced drivers/guides. Our first camp lies in a private and remote area in the northern Okavango Delta. In addition to our private vehicles, we will also be in boats to photograph animals in a variety of different habitats, ranging from the clear Delta waters with reed-lined lagoons and channels to open grasslands. This trip will be the experience of a lifetime!

Accommodation: Each camp where we stay is small and private, accommodating only eight to ten tents total. Our accommodation at each location will be luxury safari-style, tented camps. Each tent has private facilities, including hot and cold running water, open-air showers, flush toilets and electricity.

 

Previous Tour Itinerary

 

Day 1:

Depart from home.

 

Day 2:

Arrive Johannesburg, South Africa. Overnight in hotel near the airport.

 

Day 3 (trip starts here):

Meet at Johannesburg International airport. Morning flight to Maun, Botswana. Bush plane to first camp. Afternoon game drive.

 

Day 4-6:

We’ll have two full days photographing from our private vehicles and boats. Each day begins with a pre-sunrise tour, followed by breakfast. A light lunch is followed by a second game drive later afternoon, and dinner upon return to camp.

Day 7-9:

After our morning game drive, we will, we will fly to the next camp. We will arrive in time for dinner, and an afternoon game drive.

Day 10-12:

Today, we move to our last camp. The transfer is by jeep, and will be combined with the morning game drive.

Day 13: After an early morning game drive, we fly to Maun by bush plane, and from there back to Johannesburg for the night flights home.
